Day 1: Arrive Phnom Penh – Toul Sleng – Killing Field

 

Arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport, Greeting by Tour Guide, Transfer to Hallal Restaurant to test the Malaysian Food breakfast in Cambodia and it was the one of famust Hallal Restaurant in Phnom Penh by located very close to the river side, Then proceed to check in the professional standard 3stars Hotel in cambodia.

New York Hotel, is conveniently situated in the heart of Phnom Penh City along the main road (Monivong Blvd), just 2km to the river side, King Royal Palace, National Museum and very close to Central Market that well known in Khmer (Phsar Thmey).Take a rest at the Hotel and it will be start lunch time at 12:30pm (Time in Cambodia).

Free your own leisure and Proceed to visit Toul Sleng Genocide museum (S21).

Prior to 1975, Toul Sleng was a high school. When the Khmer Rouge came to power it was converted into the S-21 prison and interrogation facility. the building served as the Museum, a memorial and testament to the madness of the Khmer Rouge regime. Much have been left in the state it was when the Khmer Rouge abandoned it in January 1997. The prison kept extensive records, leaving thousands of photos of their victims, many of which are on display. Painting of torture at the prison by Vann Nath a survivor for Toul Sleng, are also on display. the museum's famous and controversial'Skuyll Map"is no longer on display. and then we continue to visit The Killing Field as they Known clearly that Choeung Ek Genocide museum.memoral at Choeung Ek just outside PhnomPenh was an orchard and the chinese cemeteryprior to 1975. During the Khmer Rouge regime it became one of the killing fields-this one is the site of the brutal executions of more than 17,000 individal,

most of whom first suttered through interrogation, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison (S21) in Phnom Penh. continue to having Dinner at Koh Pich Hallal Restaurant. Go back to the hotel.

Day 2: City Tour (Wat Temple, King Royal Palace, Independent Monumence - Russian Market , Muslim Village Boat Cruise)

Break fast at D'wau Restaurant of New York Hotel then take alook of morning view around Phnom Penh City

-Wat Phnom Hill, The historical site of Phnom Penh City, found in 1372.it is situated on the top of Phnom Daun Penh. It is considered a secret monastery. the Vihara (sanctuary) was rebuild in 1432,1806, 1894 and 1926. West of Vihara is an enormous stupa containing the ashes of king Ponhea Yat reigning from 1405 to 1467.

-King Royal Palace was erected in the reign of King Norodom(1866). the Royal Palace wasformerly called "Phreah Barom Reach Veang"that meant it was conveniently located at the confluence of four rivers (The Upper Mekong, The Lower Mekong, the Tonle Massac and Tonle Sap). Nowadays it is only called "Phreah Barom Reach Veang". The Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His majestic, the King of Cambodia, and the Royal families live. In a common word, it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Royal Palace is regarded as the symbol of the whole nation, and all the pavilions are adorned and painted with yellow and white colors. The yellow represents Buddhism and the white represents Brahmanism.

-Independent Monumence

Erected in 1955, the Independence Monument symbolizes Cambodia independence gained from French colonialism in 1953. This monument is a copy of Bakong temple (the group of Roluos in the 9th Century). the one-hundred Nagas and snake motif can be seen in hisorical, Cultural archeological, and business contexts. The Independence Monument is today used to commemorate the souls of combatants and heroes which laid down their lives for the freedom of the country. Proceed to have Lunch at Café Malaya the Malaysian Test in Cambodia.

Go back to the hotel. take rest at the hotel and it will be start traveling again at 2:30pm.

Then continue to make shoping with the populer market in Phnom Penh (Russian Market). It has many thing there that you buy as the suvoneir. Visit poor muslim Village in around Phnom Penh, Sunset Boat cruise along Mekong Revier to take a look the sunset of Phnom Penh, Dinner at Koh Pich Hallal Restaurant and to back to the Hotel.

 

Day 3: Shoping (Central Market) – Departure

 

Breakfast at the hotel and then free your own leisure at local market near by the hotel (Central Market) for other souvenirs, Check out the Hotel, to have lunch at City cat Restaurant and proceed to transfer to the airport for flight departure.
